Chequer Imports 4135 Gulf Freeway year built: 1958 architect/designer: location: East End status: Demolished 09/2006

The Chequer Imports building was abandoned then demolished in 2006 by owner Jay H. Cohen. He was also the steward of the Wilshire Village apartments on Dunlavy at W. Alabama streets, which is another neglected property that was demolished.
