Bob Cohen built this house - which he called “his baby” - in 1964. It consisted more than 15,000 pounds of steel, over 100 piers, Arkansas ledge stone facade, the white plated carousel-like roof over the rotunda, built-in furniture (from cabinets to an aquarium), and a boomerang-esque pool in the backyard.
The Cohens moved from their home around 2003 because of accessibility issues, and it was sold to lawyer John O’Quinn in mid-2004. Under O’Quinn’s ownership the house deteriorated and he sold it to Granit builders who demolished the home.
